Forum Pillars
The World Youth Forum program is divided into various pillars, tackling themes and topics of interest to international youth, creating a platform to express views, present ideas and share experiences throughout its sessions.
Youth Global Issues
This section covers the topics of terrorism, climate change, irregular migration, the refugee crisis, peace in conflict zones, development, and it addresses the role of youth in confronting, contributing, and engaging with each of these issues, and how their input and participation can bring about real change.
Sustainable Development, Technology and Entrepreneurship
This program will explore various ideas and visions conceived by youth for achieving sustainable development around the world. International experiences in the process of achieving sustainable development will also be reviewed. In addition to giving participants the opportunity to present their innovative experiences in the field of entrepreneurship, the impact of technology on the lives of youth will also be brought to the forefront of the dialogue.
Civilizations and Culture
A vibrant discussion about culture, art and identity will provide an opportunity to explore how different civilizations and cultures can be integrated to complement one another. This program will review international best-case practices in training young people, as well as the role of states and societies in creating future leaders.
Model United Nations
The World Youth Forum will witness a simulation of the UN Security Council, where more than 60 young people from around the world will participate. Through their participation in this model, these young people will be able to practice a vivid experience of being representatives of the UN Security Council, helping them identify and work on various points of view and solutions during the discussion of different topics that include: threats to global peace and security, the challenges facing countries as a result of waves of irregular migration, and cyber warfare and its threat to state security.
